Milonga-Jive is a fusion of Milonga (fast) Tango and Modern Jive.

It looks smooth and classy and is best danced at medium or fast pace (but can work at Blues pace too).

Milonga-Jive combines various move types including:

• Walking moves and turns, for example Manhattans (aka Mambo steps).
• Sweeping moves such as The Penguin.
• Fancy footwork such as the Columbian Pirouette.
• Pirouettes.

• Basic walks.
• Grapevines.
• Fancy stuff!

• A few of these :-)

In Milonga-Jive the hands rarely go above the shoulders and the style does not include staccato tango moves or ‘decoration’.

As with everything in the Modern Jive world you can adapt it to make it your own!
